What Makes Me Different

My name is Emerson Hickman. Currently I am operating in the greater Seattle area. I'm a very different professional dog photographer. I focus on the eyes.

Eyes are said to be windows to the soul, and with dogs I truly believe that their eyes covey their love, understanding, curiosity, and soul. In fact the whole reason I started photography was because of a picture I took of my dog, and I haven’t been able to put down my camera since.

I believe that when we choose a dog to be part of our family, we are not doing so just because we find them cute and adorable, but because we see something in their eyes that speaks directly to us.

For each of my sessions I focus on getting numerous shots conveying the beauty of your dog, but I also make it my personal mission to capture a closeup of your dog staring into the camera so that when you look upon the finished photo, you will catch a glimpse of the moment when you first laid eyes on your dog.
